  • When the Student Health Center has limited appointments available.
  • When the Student Health Center is closed, including holidays.
  • If you are traveling outside of the Tallahassee area and are in need of immediate medical care for a non emergent issue.
  • If your primary care physician is not available.

How much does it cost?

How much does it cost?

Your consultation with a nurse is free. Should you choose to speak to a physician, you will be charged a $40 fee. This fee may be reimbursable by your insurance company. Students covered by the FSU United Healthcare Student Resources insurance, and most other plans, will be responsible for applicable deductible, coinsurance or copays. Payment types accepted include all major credit cards and HSA/HRA cards. The FSU Card and checks are not accepted at this time.
